A rocket is a missile, spacecraft, aircraft or other vehicle which obtains thrust from a rocket engine. In all rockets, the exhaust is formed entirely from propellants carried within the rocket before use.[1] Rocket engines work by action and reaction. Rocket engines push rockets forwards simply by throwing their exhaust backwards extremely fast.
Rockets for military and recreational uses date back to at least 13th century China.[2] Significant scientific, interplanetary and industrial use did not occur until the 20th century, when rocketry was the enabling technology of the Space Age, including setting foot on the moon.
Rockets are used for fireworks, weaponry, ejection seats, launch vehicles for artificial satellites, human spaceflight and space exploration. While comparatively inefficient for low speed use, they are very lightweight and powerful, capable of generating large accelerations and of attaining extremely high speedswith reasonable efficiency.
Chemical rockets are the most common type of rocket and they typically create their exhaust by the combustion of rocket propellant. Chemical rockets store a large amount of energy in an easily released form, and can be very dangerous. However, careful design, testing, construction and use minimizes risks.

ozone layer
The ozone layer is a layer in Earth's atmosphere which contains relatively high concentrations of ozone (O3). This layer absorbs 97–99% of the Sun's high frequency ultraviolet light, which is potentially damaging to the life forms on Earth.[1] It is mainly located in the lower portion of the stratosphere from approximately 20 to 30 kilometres (12 to 19 mi) above Earth, though the thickness varies seasonally and geographically.[2] The ozone layer was discovered in 1913 by the French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson. Its properties were explored in detail by the British meteorologist G. M. B. Dobson, who developed a simple spectrophotometer (the Dobsonmeter) that could be used to measure stratospheric ozone from the ground. Between 1928 and 1958 Dobson established a worldwide network of ozone monitoring stations, which continue to operate to this day. என்பது நெருக்கமான உள்ளப் பிணைப்பு தொடர்பான ஒர் உணர்வும்அநுபவமும் ஆகும். அன்பு என்ற சொல்லை ஆங்கிலத்தின் "love" என்ற சொல்லுக்கு இணையாகக் கருதினாலும், "love" என்னும் சொல் குறிக்கும் எல்லாப் பொருளையும் "அன்பு" என்னும் சொல் குறிப்பதில்லை. "love" என்பதற்கு ஆங்கிலத்தில் பல பொருள்கள் உள்ளன. பொதுவாக ஒரு பொருள் அல்லது செயலின் மீது உள்ள "விருப்பம்" (நான் பாயாசம் "விரும்பி" உண்பேன்), இருவருடையே காணப்படும் பொதுவான அன்பு, மிக நெருக்கமான "காதல்" உணர்வு வரை பல பொருள்களில் அச் சொல் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றது. அன்பு என்ற சொல்லுக்குரிய உணர்வும் எண்ணக்கருவும் தமிழுக்குத் தனித்துவமானது எனலாம். இவ்வாறு மொழிகளிடையே "அன்பு" என்னும் பொருள் தரக்கூடிய சொற்கள் குறிக்கும் உணர்வுகள் பலவாறான வேறுபாடுகளைக் கொண்டவையாக இருப்பதால், அன்புக்கு உலகம் தழுவிய வரைவிலக்கணம் ஒன்றைக் கொடுப்பது கடினமானது.
தமிழிலும் அன்பு என்னும் உணர்வு பல்வேறு மட்டங்களில் வெளிப்படுவதைக் காணலாம். தாய் மீதான அன்புக்குச் சிறப்பான இடம் உண்டு. அன்பு அதன் பல்வேறு வடிவங்களில் மனிதர்களிடையேயான தொடர்புகளை வலுப்படுத்தும் ஒரு காரணியாக உள்ளது. அத்துடன் அன்பின் உளவியல் முக்கியத்துவம் காரணமாக ஆக்கக் கலைகளில் அது ஒரு முக்கியமான கருப்பொருளாக ஆளப்படுகிறது.
